Education and human exchange constitute an essential dimension of the partnership between France and India. Collaborations in higher education,a research and innovation led the priorities of the third edition of Bonjour India, which culminated with the first Indo-French Knowledge Summit.
Coinciding with President Emmanuel Macron’s first Stat visit to India in March 2018, the Knowledge Summit brought together leaders form the academic, scientific and economic world in order to shape the Indo French roadmap for the next decade.
Graced by the presence of H.E. Mrs Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Shri Prakash Javadekar, former Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, this two-day meeting offered a common moment for a common goal: increase student mobility, enlarge Research & Development collaborations and link campuses to companies by focusing on employability.
The unveiling of a large number of agreements, including a long awaited and major one, showcased the new dynamic of the partnership between the two countries.
