Dr. Bertrand de Hartingh Graces Pune University Convocation Ceremony

“विद्यार्थ्यांना अभिनंदन” were the first words of Dr Bertrand de Hartingh, Counsellor for Education, Science and Culture, French Embassy in India and IFI Director when he spoke as the chief guest at the 115th Convocation ceremony of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. He was welcomed by Hon’ble Prof. Nitin R. Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor, as he became the first foreigner to grace the convocation ceremony as chief guest. The honour has only been bestowed to renowned figures including Jawaharlal Nehru.
