16 language assistants from France are currently in India where they will be teaching French in local educational institutions. They were briefed by IFI staff prior to being deployed to the various schools and universities across India. This initiative is part of a yearly French language programme in India. French language teachers from Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad gathered at The Mother’s International School in Delhi, to take part in a 3-day training programme organised by the French Institute in India. Participants were trained to become jury members of upcoming DELF Junior exams to be held at the Lycée Français International de Delhi.
The French Institute in India in partnership with IATF North Zone and Alliance Française de Delhi is organising a cartoon designing contest for students in Delhi NCR. A series of workshops introduced students of various Delhi schools to the world, codes and creative techniques of comics. Here is a glimpse of how it went for DPS Vasant Kunj and R.K. Puram. The winners of the contest will be announced on 19 July.
