The Knowledge Summit is a Franco-Indian Summit that aims at designing a roadmap of Franco-Indian cooperation for the next five years, in collaboration with academic institutions and companies.

In 2018, on the occasion of the first State visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to India, the French Embassy in India – French Institute in India along with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation, Republic of France and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, jointly organised the Knowledge Summit – the first high-level Indo-French summit on higher education and research on 10th and 11th March in New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Campus France, and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

The Summit was inaugurated by the Mrs Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education and Research and Innovation, Republic of France and Mr Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The Knowledge Summit brought together leading actors from the domains of academics and industry to fashion a roadmap for the future collaborations between the two countries for the next 5-10 years.
