Delphine Delas in Hyderabad

Following a first residency with St + art India as part of Bonjour India and the cooperation agreement between Bordeaux Métropole and the Krishnakriti Art Gallery, the Bordeaux artist Delphine Delas has developed an interactive mapping project through the creation of an original video projected on Qutub Shaib Tomb, an emblematic monument of the city of Hyderabad. The work is inspired by Prashant Lahoti's collection of old maps and will trace the urban and environmental evolution of Hyderabad, set to music by a French electronic musician from Bordeaux, Nicolas Louvancourt.

The first screening will take place on Sunday 6 January as part of the Festival

Zoe Simpson's tour of India

Organised by Gatecrash, French artist Zoe Simpson (pop / electro / jazz) will be touring India to launch her new album “Femme Debout”. She will be at the Krishnakriti Festival on the 6th. The album addresses issues pertaining to women, human rights, religious fundamentalism, resilience and love.
