Art curators and historians, mark your calendar for 11 September!
Prameya Art Foundation is all set to welcome you back to its gallery, physically and virtually!
Art Scribes Award exhibition this year is titled ‘Seeds are Being Sown’. Digging for nuances within contemporary terrains of citizenship and belonging, ‘Seeds are Being Sown’ offers perspectives on defying rigidity through a gathering of artistic agencies rooted in active commemoration, corporeal knowledge, and trans futurities.
The exhibition is curated by Art Scribes Awardee Shaunak Mahbubani, the first Art Scribes Award winner.
Developed by the Prameya Art Foundation in collaboration with the French Institute in India, the Art Scribes Award rewards young curators or art historians. The prize is a residency at the Art Centre of the Château de La Napoule (in Mandelieu-La-Napoule, France).
