The Malraux seminar on culture and its practice in urban spaces, is an Indo-French professional symposium on public policies and cultural practices, organised in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture.
The seminar will be the occasion to strengthen the Indo-French cultural cooperation and to promote the exchange of good practices and technical expertise.
It will consist of thematic roundtables and case studies revolving around the three following themes:
– Why encourage artistic interventions in the cities of tomorrow?
– Which tools for artistic intervention in urban public spaces?
– How can culture in public spaces contribute to the transformation of a city and its surroundings?
Should you wish to attend the seminar, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Furthermore, Maud Le Floch, Director and Founder of POLAU, is invited by Centre of Policy Research to give a conference on art in the cities. As urban planners, what inspires us in the universe of creation in public space is not so much the production of visual or living forms, but rather the methods and forces that produce them.
Venue: Centre for Policy Research
Time and Date: 24th September, 7.30pm to 9.30pm
