Following the success of #culturecheznous, (Culture at home), a website created during the lockdown by the French Ministry of Culture to collate a variety of nationally-available cultural online content, the ministry has created a permanent website offering more than 700 cultural and artistic programmes online, from more than 500 sources. The website also tracks the places that have now reopened to the public.

The Centre national des arts du cirque (CNAC) is a higher education and research establishment created in 1985 at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture. Nearly 400 artists from 35 different countries have graduated from Cnac and are now major players on the international contemporary circus scene.
