To support INRA’s collaboration in India on global issues such as sustainable development, environmental protection and food security, Girish Sohani, President of BAIF Development Research Foundation, met Philippe Mauguin, President of INRA last month in France. The water crisis in Tamil Nadu has put the state in a dire situation. The Director of the French Institute of Pondicherry (IFP), Dr Frédéric Landy says: “It’s not that there is much less water: the truth is that there is less awareness.
